Dawn Fresh Catering was originally a part of Ebels General Store. In 2001, a new business entity was formed – Dawn Fresh Catering, Inc. In 2001, the business also began construction of a brand new 2400 square foot kitchen. Since the kitchen was completed, the company has seen steady growth.
Dawn Fresh Catering has been recognized for the 8 consecutive years as the #1 caterer in the Cadillac area. Part of this distinction comes from a commitment to fresh, homemade foods and an emphasis on using our own homemade meat products. From meat entrées to potato salad, everything is homemade. Dawn’s special recipes, many of them from her mother Ida Mae DeRuiter, are very well known for their heartiness and taste. Many of Mark’s specialty smoked meats are used by Dawn as well. Mark’s homesmoked Turkey, homemade ham, and homemade picnic ham are among the favorites. Also all of the fresh meats used are hand selected by the experts in Ebels General Store’s meat department. Dawn’s high standard for what she serves does not translate into high prices. The business’s model is “Homestyle Catering at an Affordable Price.”
Dawn Fresh Catering offers menus for all occasions. Weddings, company picnics and Christmas parties, graduation open houses, class reunions, business meetings, community events, and business open houses are all served by the business.
